Privacy policy

How Knowlode handles personal data you give us through this website. Data we process for sellers under a data processing agreement is governed by that agreement.

§1

Who is responsible

The controller is Tekton Capital Pte. Ltd., #41-01 Hong Leong Building, 16 Raffles Quay, Singapore 048581, UEN 202027389D, which operates Knowlode. Contact our data protection officer at dpo@knowlode.com.

Knowlode is currently operated by Tekton Capital Pte. Ltd. from Singapore, during its testing phase (see About). Because we offer our services to people in the EU, our representative in the EU under GDPR Art. 27 is being appointed; until then, please write to dpo@knowlode.com.

What we collect

  • Enquiry forms: name, work email, company, country, role, and what you tell us about your company or your data needs.
  • The estimator inputs and estimate you submit with an enquiry.
  • Referrals: your details and the contact details of the company you refer. If you refer someone, we receive their details from you and tell them so at our first contact (GDPR Art. 14).
  • Technical data needed to deliver the website and block automated abuse, such as IP address and browser information, processed by Cloudflare.

You do not have to give us these details, but we need them to answer your enquiry. We do not use automated decision-making.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are deleted automatically 24 months after submission. If an enquiry leads to an agreement, the agreement’s retention terms apply instead.

Deleted enquiries may remain in encrypted database backups for up to 30 days before they are overwritten.

Who receives it

Our processors, listed on the trust page. We do not sell enquiry data and do not use it for advertising. New enquiries are also sent by email to our operations team.

International transfers

Enquiries are stored in a database restricted to the EU. Cloudflare’s network may process technical data outside the EU. Where it does, transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses (GDPR Arts. 45–46). You can get a copy of the safeguards on request.

Enquiries are stored in a database restricted to the EU. Tekton Capital's staff may access them from outside the EU, including from Singapore. Because we offer our services in the EU, the GDPR applies to our processing wherever it takes place (GDPR Art. 3(2)).

Your rights

You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, and object to processing based on legitimate interest (GDPR Arts. 15–21). Write to dpo@knowlode.com. You can also complain to the data protection authority in the EU country where you live or work (GDPR Art. 77).

Right to object: where we process your data on the basis of legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)), you may object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (GDPR Art. 21). We will then stop unless we can show compelling legitimate grounds.
