§1

For companies

What does Knowlode do?

We pay companies a fixed fee for a non-exclusive licence to anonymised operational data, then license our own datasets to AI developers.

Which data is eligible?

Messages, code, documents, CRM and finance records, and tickets, typically from companies with 10+ staff and several years of archives. HR, health, private channels, direct messages and private email are excluded.

How is the fee calculated?

From your size, years of archives, the kinds of data in scope and your sector. Try the estimator.

When are we paid?

Within 14 days of the dataset passing quality review. Typically 4–8 weeks from first call to payment, longer where a works council must be consulted first.

Do you need access to our systems?

No. Your administrator runs a standard export. Where a vendor’s terms allow it, we can offer scoped, time-limited access instead.

§2

Privacy and staff

What happens to our customers’ personal data?

Personal data is removed or replaced before licensing. Names, contact details and identifiers are redacted or replaced, and every dataset is tested for re-identification risk.

Do our employees need to be told?

Yes. We draft an employee notice and run a 30-day opt-out window before any export. Where a works council exists, we give you guidance on consulting it.

Where is the data processed?

In the EU. Raw data never leaves the EU and is deleted after processing.

Is Knowlode certified?

We are preparing for ISO/IEC 27001 and say so on our trust page. We do not claim certifications we do not hold.

§3

Who uses the data

Who licenses Knowlode datasets?

AI developers training and evaluating models, including research labs.

Will buyers know we contributed?

No. We never disclose which companies contributed to a dataset.

Can buyers resell or publish our data?

No. Our licences forbid publication, resale of the data, and any attempt to re-identify people.
